Day 1: Figueira Da Foz (Portugal) to Vigo (Spain)

@September 13, 2021 1:25 PM (GMT+2) Loaded up Joao’s car, and we headed up to Vigo. Making a quick pit stop in Braga for a camera lens, we did not see much. Just grabbed gas at a station with a Pingo Doce grab & go. Picked up a beautifully ripe banana instead of having to buy a chocolate bar. And the banana was only 17 cents. Win win.

We stopped just over the border in Tui and had a drink on the main pedestrian avenue. Walked around town, took pictures of the historical buildings, the river (with Portugal on the other side), and the graffiti.

Tapas were in order, and we ate a beautiful meal with scallops, pork & fries, croquettes, tortilla, and bread. Perfect start to the Spanish adventure.

By the time we finished, nightfall was upon us and we had a dark drive into the hills surrounding Vigo. Great start.
